(HARRISBURG) – Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati (R-25) will hold a public event to mark the opening of the 7th season of the Capitol Hunger Garden on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. directly in front of the garden.
Senator Scarnati will be joined by other members of the Legislative Hunger Caucus. Also taking part in the event will be individuals from the Department of General Services and Department of Agriculture, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Downtown Daily Bread, master gardeners from the Penn State Cooperative Extension and volunteers.
